Reaching around the world with the gospel isn't as difficult as it may seem. We heard from Jeremy who is a young man in India. He sent an email explaining the blessing he received from a Kristin tract. Jeremy's parents were visiting the United States. While they visited they stopped at a Wal-Mart store. They purchased a Bible at Wal-Mart, and returned to India with that Bible among the other treasures they purchased while visiting America. The Bible was a gift for their son, Jeremy. As he opened his new gift to read, he noticed that a small yellow pamphlet was tucked among it's pages. As he ready the tract, he dedicated his life to Christ. Jeremy's email to us asked us to express his gratitude to whoever left that tract in that Bible. He said he would be eternally grateful.
We don't know what impact a small Kristin tract can have. We don't know where they will travel, but since it contains the word of God, He promises that His word will not come back void.

Why not? Paul mentioned that he tried to persuade people to trust Christ as their Savior. That's an amazing goal. During Paul's ministry, the memory of Jesus walking the streets of Israel was very fresh. Many of the inhabitants remembered the miracles that they witnessed with their own eyes. However, how are we to trust someone whom we have never met? Someone who left this life almost 2,000 years ago. God has left it all to just plain old fashioned faith. According to the Bible, God has revealed himself to all in some way. Everyone knows that God is real and that He wants our trust. When someone hears the gospel, something strange takes place. Conviction. It's undeniable. An unusual feeling and a conviction that the story is true. Of course, unfortunately most people just shrug it off. A most dangerous event. If you are a Christian, don't be discouraged. Give someone a tract. God may have prepared their heart for just that moment.
There was only slight solace midday Monday for searchers hoping to learn the whereabouts and what happened to 21-month-old Lonzie Barton. This is a very sad story about a baby who was kidnapped and is now presumed dead. The police are trying to find out what happened. Here's the full story Why do we post stories like this? To emphasize the need to reach more people for Christ. How likely is it that if more people trusted Christ just maybe they would be less inclined toward the evil that men do. Order some Kristin tracts today and start giving one to someone every day. That's 365 tracts in a year. At least they will know. kristinsfriends.com |
